The advantage this sawmill has is that it keeps the number of employees to a minimum and increase production. In the same vein as the original one man sawmill, this mill goes for production without all the extra labor. It is automated so that you can make more than one cut just by setting a switch.
It will drag back the board and start another cut so the sawyer can actually run the edger himself. It will make as many passes as you tell it so you can move about and do other things while it is cutting.
With a couple of added conveyors one man can actually saw up to 3,500 board feet a day by himself. With three or four additional helpers this mill is capable of sawing up to 10,000 board feet a day!
