These problems can't be fixed by changing hook angle or tooth set, but they can be changed by manipulating the body of the band blade so that it is flat!

Take a diving blade and change the hook angle and you still have a diving bandsaw blade. Take a diving blade and change the tooth set and you will still have a diving blade!
