AccuTrac gives you 18 Valuable Features that you can't go without ~ click to review.
Features:
- 62hp Perkins Diesel - poweful and reliable
- 36" Diameter Log Cut
- 21ft. standard log cut (additional feet available)
- Sturdy 4 x 2 x 3/16" tubing 4-post head frame - no shaking when in the cut
- Heavy wall 6 x 3 x 3/16" twin beam main frame - no twisting, and capable of handling 10,000 lb. logs
- Computer Setworks - The computer setworks system allows the operator the ease of cutting consistent wood every time. With 9 presets and an infinite amount of adjustment.
- Hydraulic Log Lift - four 1/2" plate arms with aggressive foot pattern make for a loader that can handle heavy logs without bending. Most manufacturers can't handle logs in the 8,500lb range. The AC3662T can with no problem
- Hyrdraulic Log Turner - built from heavy #120 roller chain with 1" thick cleats welded in place to turn big logs with ease. Will turn logs CW & CCW
- (2) Hydraulic Squaring Arms - made from heavy wall 2" tubing. For cutting logs shorter than 8ft. it is recommended to add a 3rd squaring arm
- (2) Hydraulic Log Clamps - these clamps are built stout, and we don't just put one on your mill, but two for that extra holding power needed with bigger logs
- (2) Hydraulic Log Tapers - used to level up a log with a big butt end, allowing you to get the most board feet cut out of each log
- Hydraulic Guide Arm In/Out - with the touch of a button easily adjust the distance of the blade guide from the side of the log
- Remote Control Station with hand held remote control box and a 15ft. lead - The AC-36 control station was designed to be operator friendly.
By mounting the controls on a swiveling arm an operator has
the ability to decide where his best view will be. In addition, the
main sawing functions are housed in a ‘remote box’ which includes the control switches, and a 15ft. long cord that allows the operator to walk around during the cut to get the best view. You will also have the convenience of 4-way joysticks in place of rows of levers (one joystick eliminates two levers) so one hand operation of the log turner and log clamps are easily done.
- Board Drag Back System - These fingers are made from 1/2” thick steel. They give you the benefit of dragging your board back to you. This not only saves you time, but also makes for a lot less labor; both equal more money. As soon as the head returns with the cut board, you are ready to turn the log and start your next cut. You can even drag back a 12” x 12” x 16ft. cant.
- 2-Speed head up and down (fast/slow) - quickly raise or lower the head till you are about at your cutting mark and then simply flip a switch to go into the slow mode so you can adjust dead on your cutting mark
- Dual heavy duty axle trailer package (brakes on all four wheels) - not just one axle with brakes but all four wheels. This makes for a quick stop when needed
- Mega Drive Bearing Assy. - this shaft assembly that holds the drive side band wheel and the drive pulley is made of heavy duty stressproof steel housed in a 6" round steel and inside are tapered roller bearings like would be used in truck axles. This heavy duty piece is far superior to any pillow block bearing setup on the market
- Mega Blade Guide System - this super heavy roller guide system is used to guide the bandsaw blade. It turns with the blade unlike sandwich type guide that build up heat in the blade and cause pre-mature blade breakage. We machine the parts from solid steel on our computerized machinery for high accuracy, and harden them to a tool steel hardness
- Dual Lube/Wipe Blade System - By giving the blade a thin coat of lubricant we equip the band to resist sap build up, and the lubricant prevents friction. Therefore we have a stronger body because it is cooler and the lubrication increases the life of the blade and the guide system.
We use felt to clean the blade for two reasons; one is that since it absorbs like a sponge you don’t have to waste any lubricant in a continue heavy flow, second is that it is rigid enough to wipe the blade clean.
One is located before entering the log and another is located on the exiting side of the log.
- New Gravity Offload Roller - for easy offloading of each cut board
