If you have excessive blade breakage, or head carriage vibration, then you have out of round band wheels. If you are running
a belt insert type band wheel you won’t have perfectly true wheels. If you set a dial indicator on your band wheel and f nd
more than .007” out of round, your band wheels are beating up your band blades.
We go through an unmatched process in the industry to guarantee you get true running band wheels. Since taper lock bushings
themselves are not perfectly true (can be .015” our of round) we turn the band wheels and taper lock bushing as one unit
and stamp the location so that you get a true band wheel. You can take a true band wheel and match it up with a bushing and
then you have a out of round band wheel again, so it is a must to turn these as one unit!
